The Big Four in transcontinental railroad were: Collis P. Huntington (1821–1900)| Leland Stanford (1824–1893) | Charles Crocker (1822–1888)| Mark Hopkins (1813–1878)

They were a group of four businessmen and politicians who played a critical role in the construction of the first transcontinental railroad in the United States. They were known collectively as "The Associates" or "The Big Four".
