How long have the ranchers raising cattle in US?

Cattle ranching has been practiced in the United States since the 16th century. The Spanish introduced cattle to the Americas, and by the 17th century, cattle ranching was well-established in the Southwest. In the 18th and 19th centuries, cattle ranching spread to other parts of the United States, including the Midwest, Great Plains, and West Coast. Today, the United States is one of the largest producers of beef in the world.
