How much is a drummer boy 1776-1976 quarter with D on it?

The 1776-1976 drummer boy quarter without a mintmark was minted in Philadelphia and is common. It should only contain silver plating so it's value is 25 cents. However, because of silver speculation many people believe these are valuable silver coins and will pay about a dollars for most specimens in Very Fine grade and less wear. Uncirculated specimens command more than a dollar if fully red.
