Was there an equal representation of federalist and anti-federalist points view in the Constitutional Convention?

No, there was not an equal representation of federalist and anti-federalist viewpoints in the Constitutional Convention. The overwhelming majority of the delegates to the convention were federalists, and there were very few anti-federalists. This imbalance was due to the process by which the delegates were selected. The delegates were chosen by the state legislatures, which generally appointed men who shared their own federalist views. As a result, the Constitutional Convention became a meeting of like-minded federalists who quickly drafted a strong federal constitution without much input from the anti-federalists.
