No British troops died at Valley Forge. Valley Forge was the site of the encampment of the Continental Army during the winter of 1777-1778 during the American Revolutionary War. It is estimated that approximately 2,500 American soldiers died at Valley Forge, mostly due to disease and malnutrition, rather than combat. The British Army was encamped in Philadelphia during this time.
