How long did the battle of smaford bridge last?

The Battle of Stamford Bridge lasted for approximately one day, on September 25th, 1066. The battle began in the early morning when the Norwegian forces, led by King Harald Hardrada, launched a surprise attack on the English army led by King Harold Godwinson. Despite the initial surprise, the English forces managed to rally and launch their own counter-attack, which ultimately resulted in a victory for the English and the death of King Harald. The battle is believed to have come to an end by the evening of the same day.
