Did kit Carson go to school?

Christopher “Kit” Carson (December 24, 1809–May 23, 1868) was a frontiersman, soldier, and scout who played a significant role in the American West.

Kit Carson did not receive a formal education in a school. He grew up in a rural area of Kentucky, and his early life was marked by poverty and hardship. Carson's father died when he was young, and his mother remarried a man named David Workman, who was a hunter and trapper.

Carson spent most of his time outdoors, learning how to hunt and trap from his stepfather. He became an expert marksman and developed a deep understanding of the wilderness.

Although he did not attend school, Carson was a quick learner and had a natural curiosity about the world around him. He taught himself to read and write, and he became an avid reader, particularly of books about history and exploration. Carson also developed a love for storytelling and became known for his vivid descriptions of his adventures.
