Who were federalist leaders?

* Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton was one of the most important Federalist leaders. He was the Secretary of the Treasury under President George Washington and helped to create the American financial system. He also wrote many essays in support of the Constitution, including The Federalist Papers.

* John Adams. Adams was the second President of the United States and a strong supporter of the Federalist Party. He helped to negotiate the Treaty of Paris, which ended the American Revolution, and he also served as the Vice President under President George Washington.

* George Washington. Washington was the first President of the United States and a strong supporter of the Federalist Party. He helped to lead the American Revolution and also served as the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army.

* James Madison. Madison was one of the most important Federalist leaders. He was the Secretary of State under President Thomas Jefferson and helped to draft the Constitution. He also wrote many essays in support of the Constitution, including The Federalist Papers.

* John Marshall. Marshall was the fourth Chief Justice of the United States and a strong supporter of the Federalist Party. He helped to establish the principle of judicial review, which allows the Supreme Court to declare laws unconstitutional.
