What was the first atomic bomb called?

The first atomic bomb was called the "Gadget". It was detonated on July 16, 1945, at the Trinity test site in New Mexico. The Gadget was a plutonium implosion-type bomb, and it produced an explosion equivalent to 21 kilotons of TNT.
