How many atom bombs have ever been made?

According to the Federation of American Scientists, there have been 2,053 nuclear bombs detonated as of January 2018. Of these, 1,054 were tested by the United States, 715 were tested by the Soviet Union, 21 were tested by France, 20 were tested by the United Kingdom, and 2 were tested by China. In total, 500 nuclear warheads are currently deployed by US and Russian forces, with 1,350 to 1,850 stockpiled.
