How did the Serbian revolution end?

The Serbian Revolution ended with the Ottoman recognition of Serbian autonomy in 1817. The Serbian Revolution (1804–1813) was an uprising of the Serbs in the Sanjak of Smederevo against the rule of the Ottoman Empire. The revolution's first phase lasted until 1807 and is known as the First Serbian Uprising. The second phase lasted from 1808 to 1813 and is known as the Second Serbian Uprising. The Second Serbian Uprising was led by Karađorđe Petrović. The revolution ended with the Ottoman recognition of Serbian autonomy in 1817. The Serbian revolutionaries established the Principality of Serbia, which became a fully independent state in 1878.
