Did Aquinas promote the idea that working class should revolt if necessary?

Thomas Aquinas did not promote the idea that the working class should revolt if necessary. In his political thought, Aquinas emphasized the importance of social order and obedience to authority. He believed that those in positions of authority, such as kings or lords, had a responsibility to rule for the common good and that it was the duty of subjects to obey them.

While Aquinas recognized that there might be cases in which it was justified to resist a tyrannical ruler, he did not advocate for widespread revolt or class struggle. Instead, he emphasized the importance of peaceful resolution and reconciliation between different groups in society.
