What is the settings to Julius Caesar?

Julius Caesar is set in Rome, Italy, during the final years of the Roman Republic. The play covers the period from 44 BCE to 42 BCE, and begins with the conspirators' plot to assassinate Caesar. The action then moves to the Forum, where Caesar is stabbed to death by a group of senators led by Brutus and Cassius. The conspirators then flee to Sardis, where they raise an army against the forces of Octavius Caesar and Mark Antony. The play concludes with the Battle of Philippi, in which the conspirators are defeated and killed.

In addition to Rome, the play also includes scenes that are set in other locations, such as Sardis, Philippi, and the province of Gaul.
