Who is thrinacia in The Odyssey?

In Homer's Odyssey, Thrinacia is an island inhabited by the god Helios, who is the personification of the sun. The island is described as being home to Helios' sacred cattle and sheep, which are forbidden to be harmed. Thrinacia is also the setting for Odysseus' encounter with the sea nymph Calypso, who keeps him captive on the island for seven years.
