Rosa Parks was not a part of the Harlem renaissance. The Harlem Renaissance was a cultural, social, and artistic movement that took place in Harlem, New York City, in the 1920s and 1930s. Rosa Parks was born in 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama, and rose to prominence as a civil rights activist in the 1950s and 1960s.
