What was the role of Lenape men in society?

Lenape men had several important roles in society, including:

- Hunting: Lenape men were responsible for hunting deer, elk, bear, and other animals to provide food for their families and communities.

- Fishing: Lenape men also fished in rivers, lakes, and streams for fish, shellfish, and other aquatic resources.

- Farming: Some Lenape men engaged in farming, growing crops such as corn, beans, and squash.

- Building: Lenape men constructed longhouses, wigwams, and other structures for their families and communities.

- Trading: Lenape men engaged in trade with other Native American tribes as well as with European settlers, exchanging goods such as furs, skins, and wampum for tools, weapons, and other items.
