How were the people of Salem killed?

The people of Salem were not killed. The Salem Witch Trials were a period of intense persecution and hysteria over alleged witchcraft in the late 17th century in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

During this time, over 200 people were accused of practicing witchcraft, and 19 were eventually executed by hanging. However, it's important to note that the term "killed" is not accurate in describing their deaths, as they were legally condemned and executed.
