What was the OD Jewish ghetto police?

The Od 8;owa Police, also called the Ordnungsdienst (OD; lit. 'Order Service') was a collaborationist Jewish volunteer unit in the Łódź Ghetto during Nazi German occupation of Poland. Ordnungsdienst was tasked with helping to maintain order among the ghetto population, enforce Nazi orders and regulations, and arrest and deliver those hiding in the ghetto to the Ghetto Police.
