Why was there a civil rights march on Bloody Sunday January 30Th 1972?

There was no civil rights march on Bloody Sunday, it occurred on March 7th, 1965.

On March 7, 1965, civil rights activist Malcolm X was assassinated just as he began to speak with his Organization of Afro-American Unity. Three members of the Nation of Islam (NOI) emptied their revolvers at close range at the Audubon Ballroom in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City as Malcolm began addressing crowd.

After hearing of Malcolm X's assassination several major cities erupted into the streets across the nation due to their anger. This included Los Angeles, San Fransisco, New York City, Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Boston, Harlem, Newark, New Jersey, Jersey City, New Jersey, Washington, D.C, Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Dayton, Ohio, Cambridge, MA, Pittsburgh, Tampa, FL, Miami, FL, Chicago, Kansas City, Louisville, and Seattle
