Tomb of Amphipolis
The great Hellenistic tomb continues to reserve surprises and make people talk about it discovered some time ago in Anfipolis, in the north of Greece.
Even if it would now seem excluded that it could be that of Alexander the Great in person, the extraordinary dimensions and certain characteristics that make it anomalous compared to other similar finds dating back to the same era, would suggest that it may have kept (and perhaps still holds) the remains of someone very close to the great Macedonian, even his son .
The latest find concerning the tomb is the skeleton found in the third room, it is not yet known whether it belongs to a man or a woman.
