Heaven, Nirvana, Limbo, Hell, they all have weight and a similar truth:The existence of a world or kingdom that is invisible to human eyes━ The Otherworld and the Fae.
The beginning of Catholicism in 590 BCE in Rome, Italy, started the belief in a secular God. Before that, paganism, Buddhism, Taoism, and many other polytheistic religions were widely practiced in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Scandinavian colonies. It was not considered evil to keep rituals, sacrifice people and animals, or even pray to several gods (or none at all).
After the conversion of Christianity throughout the 4th century, a majority of the polytheistic religions fell by the wayside. Many turned to Jesus and recognized him as the son of a higher power instead of their God.
Despite the religious shift in the world, the existence of Otherworld existed.
The other world is often explained as a subconscious, yet very real plan of existence. There are different religious, mythological or metaphysical definitions for this. But there is a consistent consensus that other kingdoms exist here. One of these kingdoms that has been proven to humans through various natural monuments is the Fae kingdom.
What is Fae Realm?
In Irish folklore, it is believed that the Fae or the good people exist in a kingdom similar to ours. Legend has it that good people like Banshees, goblins, Leprachauns, etc. live in the other world on another plane on top of the earth. It is believed that the devil often appears if a person is in a forest in a ring with wild mushrooms, or subtly in a ritual when they fulfill a wish, provided you offer them something in return.
The question of whether there are different kingdoms that are in line with our physical world has not yet been proven. However, there are clues sprinkled throughout history that have given thousands of cultures reasons to believe that there is in fact another world at the top of ours that is limited to the Fae People. After doing a lot of research, it seems that of all the nine areas in the other world, the fae kingdom is more intertwined with ours. These are signs that the devil uses to appear to humans in subtle ways, using natural elements.
Stone circles
If you're a fan of the captivating and timely show, Outlander, you already have an idea of the historic reputation of the Stone Circles.
In the Neolithic period (ca. 3000 BC) large stones were mainly arranged to form a circle. Many believe that these formations and monuments were made by the druids or witches.
Druids are Celtic priests or magicians of Fae descent who possess valuable knowledge of the fairy kingdom, the human world, alchemy and sorcery. Just like any other spell or ritual, the seasons and the form played a significant role.
With over 1,300 stone circles in the UK and Ireland alone, there is an underlying significance within these stones.
Structure and meaning
According to BBC UK, the earliest monument is the Stones of Stenness on Orkney. The twelve stones were formed when they were divided with timber. The entire stone circle, made of sarsen, was aligned on top of an earthwork.
Other stone circles were made very similar, but there is one that provides insight into what they were used for. The Callanish on Lewis.
The inner "ring of stones" is designed to surround "a small chamber route and has four paths with standing stones that go approximately to the points of the compass."
In Druidry and other forms of magical or shamanic practice, a compass is used at the beginning of spells or rituals. North, south, east, west can represent the natural elements of the world:wind, fire, earth and wind.
These positions can also be used to enter the "intersection" or "in between". The term "in between" has been used to refer to Otherworld in many other magical practices, such as Hoodoo and traditional sorcery. It usually means that your physical body is in this world while your subconscious or soul travels to another. This can happen during astral projection while sleeping or meditating.
(Speaking of astral projection, a wonderful book to read about this and other worldly beings is Journey's Out Of The Body by Robert A. Monroe)
Druids and witches often held rituals, honored the dead, and traveled to other realms within these stone circles. Depending on the season, specific human sacrifices were made in the past. The importance of the circular shape has been used to give strength and unity. The shape of the stone circle gave these magicians concentrated power delivered by the land, which meant that the inside was "kept" inside during a ritual. More importantly, the rituals they held were reinforced by the country's ancestors.
Since many people lived and died in a single village for generations, the Druids were able to exploit this resource by connecting the stone circles with tombs and cairns. The Druids did not worship their ancestors, but instead sought the guidance, strength, and knowledge of their ancestors.
A more popular historical stone circle, Stonehenge, is a more obvious reason to believe that there is meaning in its position.
English heritage explains the formation in detail:
“The whole design of Stonehenge is therefore positioned in relation to the solstices, or the extreme limits of the sun's motion; the word solstice is derived from the Latin sol ("sun") and syste ("to stand still"). The Solstice axis is also marked by the Station Stones which are located in a rectangle on the edge of the surrounding circular ditch, with the short sides of the rectangle on the same line as the sarsen stones. ”
Mushroom rings
While mushroom rings are very beautiful to look at, these are fairy rings are considered sacred to the other world.
How?
Well, Fae has been using these rings for generations. There are many urban legends involving these rings, mainly to protect the Fae kingdom.
Therefore, these formations create portals or doorways into our world and can be dangerous if touched or entered. It is said that if you really touch or go into a fe or fe call under a full moon and run around it ten times, then you can be transported into their realm.
Formation
Although you would assume that someone spelled someone to make these rings appear, these formations occur naturally.
According to Hage collage , Writes Ariel Kusby, " Feem rings occur when a fungal spore falls in a favorable place, a mycelium (the vegetative part of a fungus) grows and spreads an underground network of fine, tubular threads called hyphae. ” The fungus spreads to an arc (as seen above). Finally, once the fungus has decomposed, the area usually has a dark ring embedded in the soil.
This disease can stay in someone's lawn through the spring and well into the fall. Ironically, this is the period of midsummer. This holiday is the time when pagan rituals for summer solstice occur.
Coincidences? It may be, but probably not.
Religious connection
In various northern European cultures, Faroese rings such as Pixie Rings, Sorcerer's Rings, Witch's Rings or hexenrings and Elf Rings are mentioned. In fact, the first appearance of these supernatural rings occurred in German-speaking Europe, which was a vast pagan area through the beginning of the 4th century. One of the celebrations that is still closely linked to the supernatural is Beltane.
Beltane, roughly translated as 'light fire', is a pagan holiday. It is one of the annual Sabbaths on the wheels of the year; it is the celebration of life and takes place before midsummer. This majestic night of Beltan's Eve celebrated between April 30 and May 1. The night represents the peak of spring and the beginning of the summer season. It is the night when the energies on earth are at a peak ever and are one of the most sexual holidays. Beltane is a Fire Festival where the pagan green man (God) and the virgin goddess are either united in marriage or divorced amicably.
Gentiles participate in the celebration by holding a massive bonfire:dancing, singing and escaping to the forest to enjoy intercourse. Many couples keep their marriage this night because of the union between their God and Goddess.
The Importance of Faery Rings
Faery Rings are dangerous to anyone who dares to touch them. Especially this evening. As I mentioned before, the fungus or fairy rings rings are very sacred to the Fae.
Imagine if someone knocked on your door late at night. Think they forced themselves in to get you to do something for them?
Would you like that? No, probably not.
If pagans or pedestrians found and ran around the ring nine times or stood inside the ring to make a wish, it would be extremely disrespectful to the devil. In essence, this disrespect would often cause the Fae to act in dangerous ways. The devil had very special abilities. For example, they can disappear and reappear whenever they want. Apparently they wanted to transport the invader into their realm. Or they would force the person to dance with them until you go crazy or die of exhaustion.
In the story of Thomas the rhymer, a gentleman accidentally enters a fairy ring. He was lured to the wonderland by the queen. Then they were transported to their kingdom for several years. When he returned, he was able to write poetry and ballads about what he had seen. Finally, Faery Queen returned for him. People have reported seeing him as an old man at the beginning of each summer "who cycled out of a fairytale home below Eildon Hills, from another fairytale home below Dumbuck Hill, near Dumbarton, and a third fairytale home under Tom -na's boat-shaped mound -hurich at Inverness ”.
Hauger
Dating before the spread of Christianity, mounds have had great significance for the indigenous people. These earthworks are man-made and formed for a specific purpose. The mounds were used as burial grounds, homes and cities during their existence. Hundreds of thousands of mounds across Europe, Asia and the Americas still exist to this day.
Culture
The oldest mound in Louisiana, Watson Brake, dates back to over 3500 BCE. Originally, the Indians built this mound for seasonal ceremonial reasons. This specific mound, like many others, was a base for the village that lived there.
Richard Thornton Access Genealogy blogs describe, " From about 1600 BC and continued until around 1000 AD, native peoples living in the interior of the eastern United States constructed dome-shaped mounds from either earth or freshwater mussel shells in places where they gathered seasonally for fishing, harvesting shellfish or hunting. Some of these mounds were possibly used for burials. "..." Between around 800 BC and 200 BC, an ethnic group constructed, now known as the Adena people hundreds of dome-shaped and cone-shaped mounds in the Ohio River Basin.
During the same period as the Adenaculture, natives in the Southeast built many burial cairns and some large pictures of fieldstones. They also constructed some conical earthen burial mounds. "
The functions of these mounds are culturally different. However, there is meaning in the structure.
In Irish folklore, it is believed that the Fae liked it there so much that they made themselves smaller and built mounds to live in. Thus, it gave birth to the notion that fairies are currently located in different mounds throughout Europe. More importantly, it is believed that these mounds were sacred. Many of them are also burial sites in them.
Is it a coincidence that Ireland has no virtual communication with prehistoric America, but still has similar burials and rituals?
Maybe, but it's unlikely.
Someone or someone connected them.

Let's break down what we just read.
The Otherworld has been around for millennia. It has allowed people to enter the fae kingdom in different ways. We can unconsciously connect to it by meditating or raising our thoughts. We can also enter through these portals through rituals. Based on the three monumental earthworks we have discussed, we can now understand that there are other forces that come into play here.
Fae has shown us that they are real. To see that they are actually real, we need to pay attention to the characters:
- Circles are universally known as timelessness, original perfection, God. Circles have been used in rituals since the very beginning of time.
- They are used to uniting the energy of the individuals who perform them.
- We consist of all the elements used in rituals:Earth, water, air and fire (aka Spirit). Completely different ancient cultures have a unique understanding of death
- A.) Your body is preserved for power
- B.) Your soul is energy
