Who were the big dollar a year men of 1920s?

In the 1920s, industrialist Andrew W. Mellon served as the United States Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge, and again briefly under Herbert Hoover. Mellon is perhaps best known for engineering tax cuts favored by wealthy Americans and corporations amid the Great Depression, and reducing the U.S. federal debt at the cost of increasing deficits.
