What is the Franklin Reality Model?

1. Human Energy. The amount of energy that goes into a physical system to produce usable or useful work of output is called Efficiency. The first element of the Franklin Productivity Method is E for Energy. We cannot be productive without energy. We should always take time for personal improvement if we want to remain energetic and productive.

2. Human Values. What motivates us to take action? What kind of behavior do we value and want to see in ourselves? The second element is represented as V for Values. Being aware of our values and beliefs helps us to be driven toward more productive behavior.

3. Human Thought Patterns. This element of the Franklin Productivity Model is represented as T for Thought. In this stage, Franklin explains that once you have the physical energy and a purpose to direct it, you need to develop the effective habits that will guide your actions.

4. Human Performance. Action involves physical performance and doing the right thing at the right time. This element is represented by P for Performance. Once we know what we want to accomplish, we need the discipline and the commitment to turn our plans into reality.

To be successful, we should constantly improve by developing our Energy, Values, Thought patterns, and Performance. It is important for both personal and professional development.
