Where was Antebellum cotton plantations located mainly?

The vast majority of antebellum cotton plantations were located in the Deep South region of the United States, which included the states of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. These states had ideal climates and soil conditions for growing cotton, as well as an abundant supply of slave labor to work the plantations. As a result, the Deep South became the center of the cotton industry in the United States, and its economy was heavily dependent on the production and sale of cotton.
