It's the return of Ötzi's mummy! The body of the famous "Iceman "Found in 1991 in a puddle of melted ice in the heart of the Dolomites, will soon be the hero of his own film. Entitled "Iceman", the work aims to tell in 100 minutes the hitherto unknown story of this mysterious hunter from -5300 BC. Spectators will find there in particular the German actors Juergen Vogel ("La vague ") and André Hennicke ("Victoria ") in the main roles.
Ötzi as "Neolithic chieftain "
Ötzi is introduced in the film as a "Neolithic Chieftain " named Kelab and whose tribe will be brutally massacred while he was away hunting. Having lost his wife and son in the attack, the 46-year-old man will then decide to track down their killers to avenge them In his quest, he will also be accompanied by a newborn, the only survivor of the carnage and will face the forces of nature with him.
But this is a fantasized version of reality because if scientists have managed to link Ötzi's death to the occurrence of an arrow wound, nothing indicates on the other hand the reason for which he was in the middle of the mountains at 3210 meters above sea level. As for the discovery of 61 tattoos on his remains, it has not yet made it possible to formally prove the existence of a clan. Anyway, the true story of Ötzi still remains a mystery, 26 years after its discovery.
