Wat Kru Si Hong

General Condition

Wat Kru Si Hong is a large abandoned temple. It is located in the Aranyik district of the ancient city of Kamphaeng Phet. Next to Wat Awat Yai, to the south about 400 meters, about 1.3 kilometers north of the northern moat, about 800 meters north of Huai Sai, and about 2.4 kilometers north of the Ping River.

Wat Kru Si Hong is a large temple located in the Aranyik district of Kamphaeng Phet. Away from the main temple to the south. Around the temple, there are wells and laterite digging ponds scattered around. Important buildings include

Vihara is a rectangular building. The base of the sanctuary below is made up of two square boards supporting the part of the lotus base built to raise the floor. The base in front of the ground floor board in front and behind the viharn will form a floor protruding from the base about 1.6 meters with octagonal columns to support the eaves (palai) 6 on each side located both in front and behind. In front of the sanctuary there is a single stairway going up and down in the middle. At the back there are 2 stairs going up and down. The top is found traces of the Chukchi base. and traces of the use of slate on the temple floor.

Chedi Rai Group Oriented along the east-west axis, surrounded by glass walls showing boundaries. The location of the chedi group is to the east of the viharn. Each pagoda collapsed, leaving only the base. It is assumed that all chedi groups are bell-shaped chedi.
