Luan Rit Community is located at the intersection of Wat Tuek, Yaowarat Road, with an area of approximately 7 rai, under the supervision of the Crown Property Bureau. The community consists of Thai people of Chinese descent and Thai people of Indian descent. The community has grown in parallel with Yaowarat Road. Originally, this plot of land belonged to Khun Ying Luan. Luang Rit's wife, Mr. Vere, the villagers called this area Luan Rit. Later, Khun Ying Luan sold the land to the Phra Klang next to it. and has developed into a commercial shophouse It was completed in the reign of King Rama V. It is considered to be the first commercial building in Thailand. It's a traveler's rental room. There is a teahouse located in the community. Luen Rit Community Area, originally used to belong to Khun Ying Luen. The wife of Luang Ritthinai Ver (Put Thephasdin, son of Phraya Chaisurin. The former land owner) later, Khun Ying postponed the sale of this area to the Royal Treasury Department next door in 1909. The Royal Treasury Department next door had built a shophouse for further lease.
From archaeological excavations, additional knowledge was obtained as follows:
1. Foundations of the sliding row houses
The floors of the sliding row houses are lined with cement tiles, primed with lime with a thickness of 4 cm and filled with sand with a thickness of 3 cm. The foundations of the building are weight-bearing walls with a thickness of 80 cm, with 14 brick-layers arranged in a 5-storey stairway arrangement under the brick foundations with mortar. Thickness of about 26 cm. Under the mortar is a layer of broken bricks, adjusted for an area of approximately 20 cm thick, and the area under the mortar layer is laid with wooden needles with a diameter of about 15 - 18 cm. 2. Same Road
