Jericho 941

Jericho pistols are manufactured by Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) which designed the famous UZI. This pistol is based on the Czech CZ 75. Jericho pistols offer very good ergonomics ensuring comfort for all hand sizes. They are available in 3 different calibers:9mm, .40S&W, .45 ACP. It remains accurate for combat up to 50m. A trained shooter can achieve a rate of 30 rounds per minute (about 2 magazines). A 22 lr conversion exists to be able to train in reduced fire and at moderate cost. This weapon was also in service in its 941 and 941f version in the close protection service of the Belgian state security.

Basic versions work in single or double action. The carcass can be in steel (Jericho F) or in polymer. The barrel has hexagonal grooves and not flat ones. The fouling of the barrel is then reduced while maintaining good accuracy.

It is a derivative of the very famous CZ75 itself derived from the very solid and very proven Browning GP35. It also shares the same magazines as the CZ75 as well as a good number of parts. It is also compatible with Tanfoglios with which it also shares many parts.

The trigger does not have a dimple but it is shooting in the fashion of Russian long guns but still manageable because everything slides continuously.

The sighting instruments are very sharp and very practical.

The weapon tends to shoot high on target, which allows it versatility in terms of shooting distance.
Heavier than the 92F, it is more stable in rapid fire
Unlike most automatic pistols, the inner rail is on the carcass and not on the breech, it wraps around the bottom of the breech and allows firing against a corner of the wall, for example, without jamming

It is reputed to fire all kinds of cartridges except lead bullets which are incompatible with barrel rifling.
it does not tolerate underloaded ammunition
