The pattern of the eunuchs.

They are going to allow me the honorary appointment of Chinese General Kang Ping as the “patron saint of eunuchs” . At the end of the post I think they will all agree on this appointment.

Chinese Emperor Yung-Lo He ruled China between 1402 and 1424. He was a bit paranoid, somewhat quick-tempered, quite distrustful and, above all, very violent (a gem). On one occasion, he had to undertake a journey of several days and left his right-hand man, General Kang Ping , in charge of state affairs and in the care of his most precious asset, his harem of his . The general, knowing the character of the emperor, knew that there was every chance of being accused of having seduced one of the concubines of the harem. So, he decided to apply the popular saying «prevention is better than cure » and castrated. Also, before the emperor left, he hid his penis in Yung-Lo's luggage.

On his return, and confirming Kang Ping's suspicions, the emperor accused him of having frequented the harem and tarnished his honor. Kang Ping went to the emperor's luggage and took out a jar with his penis, proving his innocence of such an accusation.

The emperor, moved by the gesture, named him chief of his eunuchs and, after his death, built a temple in his honor, naming him eternal protector of the eunuchs.

Kang Ping paid a heavy price for his loyalty.
