It is said that Lucio Cornelio Silla , in a fundamental moment of his career, or when he was preparing to march from Nola to Rome, undecided on what to do as he was afraid of the danger he would run, he was literally enlightened and pushed to move by the content of a dream.

One night, while he was sleeping, Ma appeared to him , a deity of Cappadocian origin whose cult had been introduced into the city by him, who stood by his side and gave him a bolt of lightning, ordering him to strike mercilessly all his enemies.

This was enough to instill courage in the leader, who at dawn set out for Rome.
