The most daring actions of the Home Army. Learn the history of Polish heroes

Which Home Army commander ran a hotel together with a Gestapo agent before the war? Which traitor in the ranks of the Home Army led a life like the TV series "Tulip" in his youth? You can learn this and much more in Wojciech Königsberg's book "AK 75. Daring actions of the Home Army".

The publication was issued on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the formation of this formation, created by people who never came to terms with the defeat of 1939. They had no intention of bending their necks to the invaders. They fought when the Polish state ceased to exist. And they created their own - the Polish Underground State. The largest conspiratorial structure in occupied Europe. What Europe itself does not seem to remember.

You can read about the successes of the soldiers of the Polish underground in the book by Wojciech Königsberg entitled "AK 75. Daring actions of the Home Army" (Znak Horyzont 2017).

They spread fear among the Nazis. They would not let themselves be forgotten. They administered justice for the crimes committed against the Polish nation. They carried out attacks on the occupiers. They liquidated informers and Gestapo agents. They freed prisoners from the hands of their torturers. They blew up German trains with soldiers and weapons. They waged psychological warfare and engaged in diversion.

"AK 75" also means new facts and several dozen previously unpublished source materials, including photos of nearly 70 memorial sites related to the actions described in the book.
