Did Hitler have one testicle? Or was he a homosexual? The strangest accounts of the Führer

Psychologist Walter C. Langer worked for OSS. Behind this acronym was the Bureau of Strategic Studies, the progenitor of the CIA. Langer was preparing a psychological portrait of Adolf Hitler. He supposed that the madness unleashed by the leader of the Third Reich might have been due to illness, childhood trauma, or ... sexual distortion.

Coprofile - this is how Hitler was diagnosed by one of the American psychologists, whom Langer asked to evaluate the collected material. OSS enabled the psychologist to transport quickly in the United States and Canada at that time. Langer drove back and forth, not only talking to witnesses, but also asking colleagues for advice.

Coprofile - this is how Hitler was diagnosed by one of the American psychologists, whom Langer asked for an evaluation of the collected material.

The psychologist who assessed Hitler's sexuality knew virtually nothing about him, but in her practice she had a patient behaving like him. He derived sexual pleasure from contact with human excrement.

Langer took this suggestion to heart.

Dirty things

In the Book of Sources index (of an American intelligence publication on Hitler - editor's note) the slogan "sexuality" is three-quarters of a page. Langer divided them into subcategories. In a column he wrote: sadism, perversions, pornography, homosexuality, masturbation, nudism, syphilis, impotence. For each category, there was at least one passage in the book. In total, he collected over 60 items.

Book of sources however, it was created on the basis of testimony that could not be verified in any way, anecdotes, publications of authors who hated Hitler and vented these emotions by writing books, then collected in the New York public library.

Incredible things were told about Hitler in Germany and beyond, , especially when it came to his intimate affairs . Hitler's opponents - which can somehow be understood - spread the most offensive theories to discredit him. Everyone played impurely in the struggle for power in Germany.

Langer paid no attention to it? Or maybe he had no choice? Second-hand accounts, rumors, memories of Hitler-hating refugees were the only material he could base his analysis of Hitler's personality on.

Was Hitler homosexual?

Relationships were basically mutually exclusive. He was completely homosexual, claimed Hermann Rauschning, former president of the Senate of the Free City of Gdańsk on behalf of the NSDAP, who broke with the Nazis in 1934 and reached the USA in 1940.

He told Langer about his conversation with Albert Forster, the Gdańsk leader of the NSDAP, who was to sympathize with Hitler because "he will never know how nice it is to have a woman" . From these words, Rauschning concluded that Hitler preferred men.

The text is an excerpt from the book by Bartosz T. Wieliński "Hitler's Doctors War", which was published by the Agora publishing house.

And yet - as he said - during the First World War, Hitler was to be brought before a field court for homosexual contacts with officers. He was facing several years in prison. In addition, there was information that the SS men who were Hitler's bodyguards were handsome, purebred men. That Röhm, Hess and other Third Reich paladins had homosexual contacts with Hitler.

Führer's sexual dysfunction

Martha Dodd, daughter of the pre-war US ambassador to Berlin William E. Dodd (she was also a Soviet spy), wrote in her memoirs that among the diplomats accredited in Berlin, there were names of both women and men with whom Hitler might have had a connection. However, they changed every few days.

In a book by Hansjürgen Koehler, published in 1939 in Great Britain (this is the pseudonym taken by Walter Korodi, a member of the NSDAP and SA, who fled from the Third Reich after the "night of long knives") Inside the Gestapo. Hitler's shadow over the world, however, Langer found assurances that Hitler was not a homosexual.

"All the rumors in this case are based on the fact that it cannot be proved that he has normal relationships with women" Koehler wrote, suggesting that the Führer suffered from some undiagnosed disorder. Another book about Hitler published before the outbreak of the war showed that he considered lust a weakness. Or that he was so absorbed in politics that he suppressed all sexual needs.

The authors of subsequent publications insisted that Hitler passionately watched pornography, masturbated, that he was aroused by strippers and Bavarian peasants undressing on stage and at private shows, watched them bend down while working. That he had to download movies with scenes of torture of prisoners from concentration camps, which he later devoured.

Incest romance with Geli Raubal

Strasser detailed Hitler's affair with Geli Raubal, his half-sister's charming daughter, 19 years his junior. He had to make her stand naked over him and urinate on him.

In September 1931, Gela's body was found in Hitler's apartment in Munich. She had his gun in her hand. It was clear to Strasser that killed herself because she did not want to fulfill the perverse whims of the NSDAP leader. Or was it Hitler, who was morbidly jealous of the girl, who killed her? In Germany it was rumored that suicides usually reach for poison rather than stick a pistol to their heart.

Langer also recorded a story about Hitler's contacts with one of the movie stars. He was supposed to lie on the floor in front of her and ask her to kick him. In turn, Ernst Hanfstaengl characterized Hitler as a sadist with homosexual inclinations. He considered him a narcissist who also suffered from an Oedipus complex.

In September 1931, Gela's body was found in Hitler's apartment in Munich. She had his gun in her hand.

This view was basically shared by Langer. The report found Hitler a homosexual and coprophile, who is impotent to do so. He looked for the reasons in his difficult childhood. Regular, brutal beatings by the tyrant father were to leave a clear mark on Hitler's psyche.

Impotent that started WWII

Why was the American psychologist so interested in the dictator's sex life? Because in Freudian psychoanalysis, sexuality was the key to getting to know the personality of the examined person. Perversions, sexual frustrations, unconscious desires were to influence a person's decisions.

This is why Langer followed the rumors of Hitler's missing core. Tales questioning his masculinity were intended to ridicule him. This motive was common. Even British soldiers ridiculed Hitler's nuclei in the songs. But if it turned out that there is a grain of truth in rumors ...

After all, the mutilation or deformation of the genital organs left a mark on the psyche. They could lead to infertility, be the source of impotence that Langer attributed to Hitler, and could generate frustration, hatred for people, for the world. Yes, Hitler's testicles may have been the key to understanding his behavior. But Langer's interlocutors, even the haters of the Führer Strasser, were silent about it.

Meanwhile in one archive in Munich was a thick book containing documents that shed new light on the contents of the scrotum of the leader of the Third Reich . OSS agents had no idea of their existence, and even if they did, they were unable to reach them. The Gestapo was responsible for all archives concerning the Führer's past (...).

Hitler's nucleus

"Right-hand cryptorchism" - wrote Dr. Josef Brinsteiner, a doctor who examined Adolf Hitler with a trembling hand in his sick records.

Cryptorchidism is cryptorchidism, a developmental disorder in which one of the testicles does not descend into the scrotum and remains in the abdominal cavity or inguinal canal . It causes infertility, may lead to neoplastic changes (…).

On January 8, 1924, Brinsteiner began writing an opinion about Hitler for the court. Everything was fine with his patient. The document, handwritten and shaky - probably because of the doctor's advanced age - was in fact a card. Brinsteiner stated that Hitler is full of thoughts about a great, united Germany, that he has a great temperament, that he is a wonderful speaker with extraordinary knowledge and political talents.

Brinsteiner stayed away from politics, but as a man who had worked all his life in the civil service - and in a prison, where he had achieved a high position - he did not wait for the Bolshevik revolution, but for the return of the old order. Or at least at the end of the chaos that engulfed Germany after the First World War.

"Right-hand cryptorchism" - wrote Dr. Josef Brinsteiner, a doctor who examined Adolf Hitler with a trembling hand in his sick records.

So with Hitler, who wanted to lift Germany off his knees, he had something to talk about.

But where does the record of Hitler's cryptorchism come from in the documents? And how is it possible that Dr. Bloch missed the missing testicle in the scrotum (Hitler's family doctor - editor's note)? After all, cryptorchidism is diagnosed in young children, actually in infants. Besides, none of the doctors who examined Hitler later recorded the defect. Who was wrong? This question cannot be answered today.
