Sexual fetishes of the ancient Greeks [18+]

Indecent, embarrassing and embarrassing things. Or maybe completely obvious? We check what exactly excited the ancient Greeks. Definitely for adults only.

The ancients had their sexual fetishes. Their buttocks - both female and male - were exceptionally exciting. One of the most beautiful were those of Aphrodite of Cnidus, a statue by Praxiteles.

“O Heracles, how beautifully formed the rear! How round the hips are, encouraging to caress! How wonderful the shape of the buttocks and the musculature not too developed, but also not so weak that the bones protrude. Two dimples, on the left and right side, recessed in the loins, smile at the viewer "- the poet from the 2nd century AD was delighted.

No wonder a young man ejaculated before this statue, and left a rather indecent mark on the goddess's leg:his own sperm.

Buttocks are included

At the same time, Lukian from Samosat put in the mouth of his literary hero such a sigh at his lover:“How neat, beautiful Palestro, you shake your asshole and sway your hips in accordance with the movement of the pot. At the sight of this my loins flex. Happy to have a dip in there. ”

And also in the 2nd century CE Greek rhetorician Alkifron described heterosexual games, including a dispute between a certain Tryallis and Myrrina over who has better buttocks. “The first Myrrine, undoing the headband - and her T-shirt was silk - rocked her hips with delightfully visible beneath her, which trembled like curdled milk. At the same time she was looking back at the movements of her bottom . She gave a slight sigh as during a love intercourse, so that by Aphrodite I felt a sudden embarrassment "- described one of the jurors.

But Tryallis quickly surpassed an acquaintance. She stripped off her robes and, kneeling over her hips, began to praise the color and freshness of the skin and the "funny dimples on the buttocks." She laughed, and "twisted her ass so hard that the whole body above the hips twitched delightfully" - to the appreciation of other heterosexuals. It seems that this anecdote tells more than about the entertainment of the courtesans about the author himself and about the male fantasies of that era.

Small breasts and limbs

When it comes to female breasts, large ones did not arouse such admiration for men as they do today. They were even ridiculed as unattractive. Big or small, however, remained an object of special interest. According to the astrological wisdom of the Egyptian priest Maneton, widespread in the Mediterranean world, men born in conjunction (that is, lining up) of Venus, Mercury and Saturn took particular pleasure in climaxing between female breasts.

The most inquisitive historians' attention was drawn to the way penises are presented on vases and sculptures. Considering the size and proportions of members (at rest and erect) in relation to the rest of the body and compared to modern ones, scientists have come to surprising conclusions.

The ancient Greeks had their own sexual preferences. They especially like the rear part of the female body - the buttocks. The illustration shows a fragment of an ancient Greek vase.

It turns out that the object of admiration in antiquity was rather ... a small penis. Disgusting figures were bestowed on vases like satyrs. Perhaps it is a matter of painting convention, but it is impossible to resist the impression that it is all about desire - just like today in the drawings of women with incredibly large breasts.

Regarding men's fantasies:they had a rich imagination about menstruation. They considered a menstruating woman to be full of not only fertile but lethal strength. Touching it could turn vinegar into wine, dull razors and cause rust. Menstruation also discouraged men from practicing cunnilingus - shuddered that while caressing the genitals of women with their tongue, they could accidentally come into contact with this fatal substance
