Historical story

Who was Al Capone?

Without a doubt, he was the most famous American gangster in history. He dominated organized crime in Prohibition Chicago, made big money from the black liquor market, and had many people killed.

He started his criminal career in sixth grade, dropping out of Brooklyn school to join the neighborhood delinquents. A street fight resulted in a mark on his face, which gave him the nickname Scarface.

At the age of 28, his fortune was estimated at 100 million dollars, the result of gambling and prostitution. He was arrested by federal agent Eliot Ness, for failing to pay taxes.
